Bradley David Gilliland, age 32 of Hockley, passed away in a car accident on March 16, 2008. In the span of his much too short time with us, Brad gave us a rich lifetime of experience to remember him by. If you had the joy of spending time with him, he would leave his impression upon you. One of the first things you would know about him is his love of horses. If Brad could attend a roping, he was there! He shone in this passion.
He placed 14th out of 1200 teams on March 9th at the World Team Roping in Waco! Brad was such a loyal husband, friend, son, brother and father to us all! He made us all laugh and he gave himself to us every day we had him. He loved his family to the depths of his soul. And, he left us with so many lessons. To exemplify the type of man he was, we can tell you that Brad saved 5 lives through organ donation. A trust has been set up in the name of Adam Gilliland, Bradley's 5 year old son, at Bank of America -- acct #586-007-553-029. Please look forward in attending a future benefit team roping in the memory of Bradley for his son Adam.
